Although our clients have various Internet Service Providers and types of service across the US and Canada, whenever possible, we recommend cable Internet to our subscribers. In our experience, DLS high-speed continues to have more connectivity issues than high-speed cable connections. Delivery of our application over the Internet is central to how our system will support your business.We also recommend most large, busy salons and spas have at least one computer that is hard-wired to Internet access at the front desk.Many of our clients use wireless connections to access the online books, but dependent on how strong your wireless connection is and what types of interference may be in or near your business, having at least one hard-wired system available will provide the best connectivity in all circumstances.

How it Works

HOW IT WORKS
Online Management of your appointment book and/or business is most simply explained as a centralized database in the "cloud" controlling all of the functions of the online books. The account owner/administrator is able to set preferences for how and when clients or multiple professionals may interact with the system.

Professional Views
All professional views are different than the client view. For Salon/Spa subscriptions, there are multiple types of professional views that are controlled by the account administrator: Front Desk ViewEmployee ViewIndependent Contractor within a Salon/SpaAccount Administrator In Booth Renter subscriptions, the "1" professional is the account administrator and has access to also use a Front Desk View. In all subscriptions, many preference settings are available to account administrators to provide the ability to show or hide client records as well as other proprietary content including administrative controls, and reporting tools.

Your Client's View
Client's will access your online book one of the following ways:1. A CUSTOM LINK FROM YOUR WEB SITE (This link is provided to you in your online book administration area).OR2. If you do not have a business web site, you may send your clients to www.BOOKME VIRTUAL.com to access your online book.

Going LIVE with your online books
You can go live with online booking as soon as all of your existing appointments are entered into your account and set-up is complete. Dependent on the complexity of your service menu and your comfort with technology, you can be up and running immediately. Most of our Salon/Spa subscribers go live in 15-30 days because there is often a large amount of data to enter during set-up. Independent Booth Renters can go live same-day if set-up is complete.

We've been a VirutalSpas client for a little over a year now. Before we had VirtualSpas we were just using QuickBooks and then we had our appointments in a handwritten book and each therapist had their own book which can get really confusing at the Front Desk. Since we’'ve started this now, the program is really easy, it’ is on the computer at the Front Desk all the time. The therapists are able to check their appointments at home; they’'re able to check them in the morning before they come in so they know if anyone’ has booked in or if their schedule has changed in any way. It’'s great because even if we are not here, people can book appointments. We have it set up so throughout the night if someone thinks about it they can put an appointment in for the next day.
